Our Journey

How meetget Ltd Started

It began with a simple observation. Thousands of people over 45 across Ireland wanted to dance but didn't know where to start. They weren't sure which events welcomed beginners, how far they'd need to travel, or whether they'd find their community. So we built something different.

Back in 2019, we noticed a gap. There wasn't one place where dancers in this age group could reliably find upcoming events. You'd hear about a salsa night in Dublin from a friend, or stumble across a bachata weekend through social media — but there was no central calendar, no clear resource. Many great dancers were missing out simply because they didn't know what was happening in their region.

We decided to change that. meetget Ltd started as a mission to catalog every Latin dance event worth attending across Ireland. But we didn't stop there.
